Fort Loudoun Day 2025

Join us to celebrate Fort Loudoun Day. On May 18, 1756, Colonel George Washington wrote a letter to Lieutenant Colonel Adam Stephen requesting support from Captain Mercers, Captain Bells, and other Companies for 50 skilled in masonry and carpentry to “carry on the work” of fort construction “with spirit and vigour“.
