Fort Edwards 250th Frontier Day Celebration

The event is free and features French and Indian War encampment, reenactments, period artisans, colonial garden tours, youth archery, old time music, trail walks and more. Gigg’s Barbeque will be on site serving fine fixins.

9am-Tea with Mrs. Edwards
10am-Troop formation and Inspection
11am- “Battle of the Great Cacapon” reenactment
1pm- 250th Ceremony
2pm- “Battle at Fort Edwards” reenactment
3pm- WV Public Broadcasting Service filming “The Battle of Jumonville Glen”
5pm-Conclusion
