Annual Meeting 2026, with Lafayette

November 15 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Roy Wulf as “Marquis de Lafayette”

Almost 250 years younger than the historical Marquis de Lafayette, Roy Wulf of Manassas Virginia is delighted and profoundly honored at the opportunity to portray the Marquis at events commemorating young Lafayette’s pivotal involvement in the American Revolution.

Mr. Wulf was awarded the Mount Vernon 2025 Student of the Year Prize for Excellence in Civics and History in Honor of Dr. Jennifer London for having founded the PVI Fife & Drum Corps. This group of student musicians from St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Chantilly Virginia performs French and American music from the Revolutionary War on fife, drum, and bugle, wearing reproduction uniforms of the Régiment Bourbonnais.

Currently a freshman at the College of William & Mary studying history and music, Mr. Wulf will embody Lafayette for our Annual Meeting, speaking of his first steps onto American soil in June 1777 through the triumph at Yorktown in October 1781. Vive Lafayette!
