Stone excavated in vicinity of Fort Loudoun’s well with auger bit hole.
The dig uncovered this rock bearing the drill shaft Washington’s workers used to blast the rock.
Jim Moyer, Steve Resan and Norman Baker drill holes in the well’s concrete cover to prep for a videotaping of the well’s interior.
6″ holes are drilled into the well’s concrete slab to prep for interior videotaping.
Norman Baker expertly supervises the prepping of the well.
